Back in the day, this house was the general store, railroad depot & post office. The beautiful fountain now at the entrance to The Boonville Park was on this property back in the day. If you don't drive, in the summer take the Amtrak to Utica, and hop on the ADK Scenic Railroad. Within a 10 mi. radius there are more things to do, than you can imagine. Everything from Water Parks to museums. There is fun stuff in every direction. just to name afew- Water Safari/ Enchanted Forest/ golfing/ hiking/ all boat and water sports/ fishing/snowmobiling/white water rafting/ tubing/ loads of ADK inspired shops/ climbing/ antiquing/ museums/ art center/ lake cruises/ seaplanes/alpine skiing/ X country skiing/ arcades mini golf/ movie theaters, etc. etc. Snowmobile, ski and hiking trails leave the property in all directions. There are no sanctioned ATV trails, however everyone has them in this neck of the woods. State trail to Brewer lake begins on the property. We back pack in about 2 miles. You should listen to the loons and star gaze at the brilliant night skies.
